“S”ecurity Convergence for Cyber, Physical and Fraud

Abstract: As our interactions with technology are essentially digital, so is the world of cyber, fraud and physical security. All fraud requires an on-line channel but also requires cyber and fraud professionals to converge practices and approaches to combat cybercrime. And, physical security is leverages elements such as IoT cameras and other electronic systems to provide early warnings about potential or active threats.

We will talk about how one organization successfully combined these functions and was able to converge disciplines as well as processes, technology and personnel to lean into this wealth of capability and streamline it for the threats that we all face today. Here, we will discuss how to converge Security Incident Management, Threat Intelligence and Insider Threat programs and processes and the benefits of an aligned “S”security organization. And, finally, we will discuss how this enhances opportunities for career growth and development.
